Both my name and my daughter's on this thread!

I like Ilse, Cleo, Anna, Evelyn (pronounced Eve Lynne) but DH didn't want these so we agreed on another that I find equally as lovely.

I think Lolita is a really pretty name - wouldn’t use it obviously - only met one person with the name who was Portuguese.

if Ds had been a girl, she would have been Caitlyn.

Agree about Lolita. The name I picked for my daughter sounds a bit similar thinking about it.

StepAwayFromGoogling · 10/03/2023 19:40

I love Aoife - but DP vetoed it because we live in England and thought DD would end up spending her whole life spelling it out...

another name I love but have totally made up is Adora

You'd love She Ra and the Princesses of Power, then!

I've always loved Louise. Never got to use it as no daughters.

That was my choice for a girl's name when I was pregnant, (had a boy). I think it is a lovely name for both a little girl and a grown woman

MysteryBelle · 10/03/2023 19:42

I just love the names Violet and Daisy. I had a doll, Daisy, growing up. Did anyone else have one, it was designed by Mary Quant if anyone remembers.

Nor mine. Mine's what people might call a 'strong' name if they were being polite! 🤣

CuriositysCat · 10/03/2023 19:43

Tamsyn.
Couldn’t use it for DD as it’s a close family member’s name.

jumpinsback · 10/03/2023 19:43

My daughters names are my absolute favourite girls names.

I love Jessie too and I think Winter is beautiful

Movingonupi · 10/03/2023 19:44

Awww my daughters name has appeared here a few times. I have two daughters so named them two of my favourites. My other two favs are Rosa and Sophia - Sophia never made the cut but may be in the running if we ever have another daughter (unlikely, we are stopping at 2!) and Rosa is the name of a friend of ours but I always tell her what a lovely name she has!

Valentina, total veto by dh.

Eldest daughter named the name I always thought I'd name my daughter from about 15.
