All very different. Surname will be a double barrelled one, 3 syllables all up.

Lovely lovely names, claudia and romilly are my faves from the list. Romilly in particular is lush and nice options for shortening should you/she choose.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Another vote for Romilly here. I liked it for my daughter but my husband doesn’t. It’s lovely 😊

I don’t think Wendy is ready for a revival yet.

Hero, although I like it, is a bit too out there, would work as a middle name though.

morgan I detest, never met a nice one.

Romilly is having a spike in popularity but that might be a good thing as it won’t seem to put there.

Romilly is lovely and my favourite from your list. I don't like the 'clawed' sound in Claudia. Do you like Cassia? It's a gorgeous name.

The first three names are all lovely, you could wait until the birth and see if one in particular seems to suit her better.

For what it is worth I like Romilly the best , Hero second. Had DS been a girl at the time I would have gone for Hero or Stella (Dh wanted Georgia ) But I do think Romilly is a lovely name,

Romilly is nice too, but quite of the moment and less elegant

Hero - nice but hard to live with. Hera?

Morgan - the idea of it is better than the reality which is a more rugby than Arthurian sorceress - Merryn, Jocelyn, Ffion, Arran, Catrin, might be alternatives

Wendy I think is wet - Zoe maybe?

....would like Claudia but I kniw 2 people who is say it Cloud-ia and 1 girl who was Claude- ia so the confusion puts me off

Are Morgan and Wendy Welsh names? I'm not from Wales so no idea.

I do think Wendy isn't quite due a revival yet, agree there. I just love the film Peter Pan.

From your list I love Romilly and Morgan. Very strong names.

@Twoinapod you're behind the times - there's a Wendy at my DD's nursery and another at my eldest's school. I was a bit surprised, I must admit.

@YukoandHiro i must be 😂 to me it’s in the same realm as Sandy, Terry, Tony, Keith. I’d be surprised to hear it on anyone under 40/50.
