I'll go first.

I love the name Annie I think it's absolutely beautiful problem is me and my partner are both red heads and make red headed curly haired children.

April. My due date is April but DH just hates it and says too corny

SBAM · 06/09/2022 18:34

Christopher- already one in the family

Violettaa · 06/09/2022 18:34

Tadhg. It’s a lovely sound and all the Tadgh’s I’ve known have been lovely. But it would be absurd on my British Asian babies!

anotherpotoftea · 06/09/2022 18:36

Liam - DH’s stepsibling has one

PileofLogs · 06/09/2022 18:37

Hamish. Too Scottish says my (Scottish) DH.

Cyw2018 · 06/09/2022 18:38

Myra and Matlida were on my list for DD, but ultimatly couldn't be used.

Myra, for obvious reasons, and Matilda because one of my cousins got there first with their DD.

PlntLady · 06/09/2022 18:38

Ivor & Ivy. I always thought these would be names I would use but in combination with my OH surname, they combine phonetically to make a very rude statement. Lol. 😬

SheilasLemonade · 06/09/2022 18:49

Min. (My surname is Gee)

Waitingforever123 · 06/09/2022 18:51

William if you add it to our surname it's someone famous but not for good reasons.

casualreader2022 · 06/09/2022 18:54

Xander and Charlotte

TreacsPotNoodle · 06/09/2022 18:55

Oliver. It's my partners name 😭

OctopusBreath · 06/09/2022 18:55

Constance. I love it but I'm not English.

Whataretheodds · 06/09/2022 18:56

Alastair
Harriet

Mini, it was my great grandmothers name and suited her perfectly. Sadly the women in my family are all on the bigger side, there is no way any of us could pull it off. I've had boys anyway so it didn't come up!

Tophy124 · 06/09/2022 19:34

James
Lily
Isla

Dreamingcats · 06/09/2022 19:45

Thomas because he'd be Thomas Thomas.

CheeseMaiden · 06/09/2022 19:48

Autumn, DH won’t entertain the idea!

Namechange192727171 · 06/09/2022 19:49

Charlotte - both my half sister and niece have the name.

Brent - DH hates it.

Jared - DH also hates it.

imnotwhoyouthinkiam · 06/09/2022 19:51

Abigail, my all time favourite girls name, which is also my nieces name.

Isobel because DCs Dad has a DD called Isabella and it would be weird for dc to have sisters with almost identical names.

Mumrey · 06/09/2022 19:54

Xander and Charlotte - do you watch Sanditon?

neverenoughchelseaboots · 06/09/2022 19:55

Ulva - for obvious reasons.

Spanielsarepainless · 06/09/2022 19:59

Andreas and Johannes.

TheClockEnd · 06/09/2022 20:00

Shelley (80s baby) Loved that name since I was a child!
With my married surname, I would just be spitting and shushing at people when I said her full name!!😁
I had a boy in the end so it didn’t matter

yorknotes · 06/09/2022 20:02

Constance. I love it so much but I had boys and am now waaaaay past babies.

DisforDarkChocolate · 06/09/2022 20:04

Kit, my absolute favourite boys name. Sounds ridiculous with my surname.
