Are there any names that you just can't imagine on a baby?

Each to their own but I just can't picture a baby Frank. It seems such a harsh sounding adult name for a baby especially a newborn yet there have obviously been a lot of baby Franks but somehow I have a mental block when picturing it.

Does anyone else feel this way about a name?

Trevor. Who looked at a baby and thought ‘this little angel looks like a Trevor’

A baby Frankie would be ok though?

@35965a Depends on whether you're a Castlevania fan or not - 'tres fort' is a good description for some babies. (Plus Richard Armitage does the voice for the character so...)

I can't really picture a baby Frankie either personally. A little more so than a Frank but I think the Frank part is so ugly that I can't quite see it on a lovely baby yet it's obviously worked for tens of thousands of babies.

Dave.

I actually know a baby Frank and it suits him perfectly! I think once it’s a real baby and not a theoretical one, any name works.

There was a Frank in my child's nursery class, I thought it quite suited him!

I met a newborn Frank once and he was the tiniest doll-like baby you could imagine. Frank just seemed so wrong on him. It didn't help that his twin had a very soft sounding name.

I'm trying to imagine what name I couldn't picture on a baby girl now. Ermintrude?

Despite the HP films, I can never imagine a baby Neville

A friend's 7 year old is called Frank. It sounds strange!

Can't imagine Ian on a baby

Adult Franks would have the christian name Francis. I'm old enough to know a few Franks and it was always a nickname, not a regular name.
