Thoughts on unique boy names

Hello, just wanting to get some feedback on the following boy names for our second son. I love these names but they are pretty out there. What are your thoughts on:

Cub, Colt and Horizon (Rize nn)

They are very unusual - what is your first child’s name? That’s me being nosey you obviously don’t have to say!!
You have to imagine a cute baby, toddler, child, teen and then adult with the name you choose.

There's a reason those names aren't used

Unless he's going to grow up to be a cowboy, nope.

If you have to choose one chose Colt. The other two are setting him up for teasing at school from other boys. Surely you must know that.

My first son's name is Ocean Hart ☺️ I know they are unusual, hence seeking feedback. I thought Scout is so popular now and used to be super unique, so why not Cub which is the boy version? I heard Colt as a nickname for Colton which is a more common boy name. Horizon was a random name I heard on a baby name podcast. All three names are actually names of babies, they are ranked on the charts so they aren't totally unranked. But I do get that they are very different and really out there.

What name can't be teased though at school? Literally kids will come up with anything negative so that doesn't put me off. I just don't want it to have a negative meaning.

Cub and Colt are both the names for baby animals.

I would put money on it that you and your partner have very very normal names like Rachel and John, Emma and James, Sarah and Matt

Nope ! Both our names are very unique

The only problem that I have with Colt is that I automatically think of the gun. (I watch too much CSI etc 😂😂)

I'd say unique are names outside the top 100-200 names. Each to their own though.

horizon I would maybe go for Rizan pronounced rye - zan

But unique means one of a kind! So something can't be a bit unique or very unique. It can be rare, unusual, seldom-seen etc.

Colt is the best of those. How about Wolf instead of Cub? Wouldn't Horizon lead to unfortunate shortening to the first syllable?

Cub and Colt are too infantalizing and gun fan for me. Horizon is better but I just don’t like the sounds.
