Amy - Aimee is a bit of a fad from the 80s/90s. It also tempts people to pronounce it in a quasi-French style with a stress on the second syllable, eg. Ay-mee. (Unless that’s what you want of course.)

I prefer Aimee. I think it's the French spelling? But guessing Amy will be easier for your little one in the sense she won't have to forever spell out her name.
