Head turning baby names

Have you heard any recently that have made you do a double take? I know of two baby Jason's born in the last two years, the first of which I found very unusual, the second of which is making me think this is maybe coming back in vogue and I'm behind the times?

I met a baby boy called Ian last year, and a baby girl called Lennon. There’s a Heracles in my daughter’s year.

I met a Lennyn in Utah once, I don't think her Mum's knowledge of European history was very good...

I taught a girl called Nazi, pronounced Nazee, which I had to keep reminding myself about.
The family were Iranian, but it seems strange that they didn't consider European history.

DD is at nursery with an Alan, which I thought was quite an usual name for a little boy nowadays!

I have taught three Angels (each and everyone one hideously behaved) and an Ecstacy. She was great.

Ecstacy with a "c"! I wonder if her name was a lot to live up to?
Alan is great.

I teach a Diana, which, in spite of the princess, hasn't really been popular.

I bet little Ecstacy's parents are Etsy power sellers and wanted to acknowledge this, but were looking for something a little more formal for the BC name!!

I met a really cute Tallulah recently - never used to like it but she was such lovely girl.

Since Wonder Woman I have really liked Diana and I would like to use it if not for the Princess…

Came across a baby Phoenix recently - apparently it's quite popular but it seems like a big name for a little baby.

Those are grim - they sound like sex toy names, or possibly 'adult' actresses.

We were on a flight a few years ago and the three children sitting in front of us were called Barnaby, Quinn and Trixy. I've never met anyone else with those names.

Is that like Michael Jackson’s son Blanket? Both are totally ridiculous names but I think Blanket was a nickname! Why would a registrar let a baby be named Beanbag?!

So many of these names are on my list love Ralph, Edwin and Woodrow! And love Dylan for a girl
