I just saw this name on a kid's show today and all the other characters called her Maudie. Suddenly this name seemed adorable.

We had Tabitha for our girl's name and loved it so, so, so much. Sadly not to be (2*DS) but we had Wren lined up for her sister's name. Good luck!

I really don't like Maud. The only time I've heard it for a child is in the Worst Witch but they all have very old fashioned names so I'm guessing it was first published a very long time ago. I've never looked.
