Favourite and least favourite boy’s name from this list?

Expecting a DS In a few months, would love to know your favourite and least favourite from the list below. Middle name will be James (can’t be first name unfortunately). Thanks!

Favourite is Joshua. Least favourite is Jesse, just because it will then sound like you've named him after Jesse James, the famous outlaw of the Old West (unless you're into that kind of thing!)

Jesse is my favourite but as others have said Jesse James is a bit of a no-go. My next favourite would be Jack. Riley is the one I like the least.

Least favourite Jesse, only because it makes me cry (a young boy Jessie James was shot in Manchester and his killer never brought to justice).

Totally hear what you’re saying about the name Jesse James! It’s a shame as I really like the name Jesse and James is a family tradition I would love to keep!

Joshua is the best, esp with James.
do not have Jesse James, too many sad, tragic, criminal comparisons.
Jack is ok, but sounds a bit like the union leader, jack jones.
riley is not a first name.
do not use riley. will not help him in life.

Definitely don't go Jesse James.

Joshua James is the best combination from your list, I quite like it.

Jack I'm indifferent to, to be honest.

Riley for a first name is bloody awful, don't saddle a child with that.

Favourite is Jesse although I'd add a second middle name to avoid Jesse James. Least favourite is Riley.

What about giving a second middle name?
Jesse James could work and take away the connections. Same with Jack.

With the middle name of James, I think it needs to be Joshua or Riley as a first name. I'm not keen on the flow of Jack James, and Jessie James has already been pointed out.

So Joshua is an outright winner for me.

Wasn't Jack originally a nickname for James?

I like Joshua the best by a long way.

I don't think Jack and Jesse work with James as a mn unless you stick another name in there (Adam?)

I dislike Riley.
