Favourite and least favourite boy’s name from this list?

Expecting a DS In a few months, would love to know your favourite and least favourite from the list below. Middle name will be James (can’t be first name unfortunately). Thanks!

If you go with the initials JJ it’s likely that he’ll be known as JJ in secondary school it’s how it seems to go round here anyway

Joshua/Jack equal favourites.

Riley is my least favourite.

Favourite: Joshua (with middle name James, as otherwise Jack would be the fave but Jack James sounds a bit harsh and Jesse James is too cowboy).

Least fave: Riley (if you're not in the UK it's probably different, but Riley has a slightly downmarket image here).

I am actually just based in France at the moment but will be coming back to England for the birth!

Favourite Jesse, followed by Joshua - both lovely - but if the middle name has to be James I’d go for Joshua because of the outlaw

Least favourite Riley (very downmarket), followed by Jack (nice but done to death)

You can't go for Jesse James (outlaw), nor Jack James (both names are too closely related to one another). Joshua is gorgeous. Riley I'm not keen on, it's a surname IMO.

I like the all double J's, but Jesse James is also the name of boy who died tragically near where I live aswell as an outlaw so not happy associations.

I do not like Riley.

Jesse is my favourite by a long way but not followed by James (unless you break the two up with another name). Joshua is my second favourite so long as you like Josh (I personally love Josh), which is inevitable whether you like it or not.

Also by far like Joshua the least- can't forget Rachel in friends squealing "JoshUA"!! It's just so straight and everywhere its become rather boring.

Favourite Joshua and goes well with James. Joint least favourites are Riley and Jesse.

Jesse is my favourite and middle names are you so rarely I wouldn't worry about using it with James.

Riley is my least favourite.

Favorites would be Jack and then Joshua. Also love Jesse but just not sure you could get away with it if James is a definite middle, sorry! Least favorite would be Riley.

You could also have Jamie as a nickname for James on BC if you prefer James as the 1st name.

Jesse is favourite by a country mile, I like Joshua too but don't like either Jack or Riley, Riley being my least favourite.

I think my favourite is Jack and least favourite is Riley. However I think Joshua goes best with James.

My favourite would be Joshua and least favourite, Riley. Agree that Jesse James is best avoided.
