Do you love it or hate it? 😎

It makes me immediately think of Harold Shipman, which is a shame really.

DramaAlpaca · 30/01/2021 04:49

Utterly hate it, I'm sorry. It's the 'prim' bit I can't be doing with.

Aquamarine1029 · 30/01/2021 04:56

Hate it. Really, really hate it.

Toilenstripes · 30/01/2021 05:02

I love it but it doesn’t feel ‘of this time’ if that makes sense.

Icedteaplease · 30/01/2021 05:11

Everdeen

intheshallows · 30/01/2021 05:15

I think it's so, so twee, sorry. And makes me think of the hunger games.

HeadlessGummyBears · 30/01/2021 05:44

I think it’s lovely.

Poppins2016 · 30/01/2021 05:50

I think it's a pretty name and would aim for nickname Rose/Rosie...

Be warned, though, the 'Prim' might be drawn upon more than you think... I know someone named Primrose whose nickname is "Primmie" which may not be quite what her parents were expecting...

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 30/01/2021 06:37

I like it! And I like the 'prim' bit too 🤷🏽‍♀️

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 30/01/2021 07:02

Dislike it. I love the simple classic Rose and I like the less popular but elegant Rosalind and Rosamund, but I can't get past the "prim" part of Primrose - it sounds too stuffy for me.

Dinosauraddict · 30/01/2021 07:07

I really like it, but it does immediately make me think of hunger games.

TashieWoo · 30/01/2021 07:07

I don’t like it, and it also makes me think of Primrose Shipman. There are far nicer flower names out there.

Sexnotgender · 30/01/2021 07:09

Not a fan, it’s very twee.

vanitythynameisnotwoman · 30/01/2021 07:14

I work with someone senior who abbreviates it to "Pris" which I just can't get my head around when you could choose Rose or Rosie! So... no unless emotional attachment with immediate abbreviation to one of the latter.

OneTwoStep · 30/01/2021 07:16

I like it but prefer Rose.

Roselilly36 · 30/01/2021 07:20

No I don’t like it. Floral names I like include Aster, Azalea, Rose. I also like Rosa.

Lovemylittlebear · 30/01/2021 07:22

Love it ❤️

Teenagetrials · 30/01/2021 07:27

Hunger Games!

EdgeOfACoin · 30/01/2021 07:32

I like Rose. The 'Prim' bit puts me off this name, though.

eaglejulesk · 30/01/2021 07:41

I love it, it's a very pretty name.

LeonaMar · 30/01/2021 09:06

I love it. Primrose and Rosemary were in my possible girl names list

whiteroseredrose · 30/01/2021 10:18

I also love it if it wasn't for Mrs Shipman 😭

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 30/01/2021 10:19

I love it

grapewine · 30/01/2021 10:20

@chestnutSquash

It makes me immediately think of Harold Shipman, which is a shame really.
Same. I wouldn't use it for that reason.
notafanoftheman · 30/01/2021 19:47

Awful.
