Brazil?

Thoughts on “Brazil” for a baby girl? No middle name, as Brazil in itself is kinda “out there” and uncommon, I think a middle name would be overkill. I hated it when my boyfriend mentioned it originally, but it’s actually grown on me. I know a ton of London’s, Asia’s, Ireland’s, etc.

Do you have links to the country? Are you Brazilian? That’s the only circumstance in which I think it might be vaguely acceptable. It’s usually not.

Country, bikini lines, nuts or coffee - perfect. Not a person - who presumably you love.

I totally get wanting an out-there name, but Brazil has some really unfortunate connotations which I really don't think you should want to inflict on your child.

Get out an atlas and find something else wacky that doesn't mean nuts or bikini waxes!

I like the Brasil spelling a lot more tbh

There are many beautiful places in the world that in their English form are not also names for male genitalia by one degree of separation and a pubic wax.
