Not sure what we're having yet but think if its a boy will be either Leigho or Leaveiye.
Which do like best?

Also on our list:
Shadoe
Frankelyn
Chayse
Loquelin
Daevyd

Will do a girls one when narrowed down. XXXOOOBear

I think it might actually be a serious thread Sad

Monstamio · 27/05/2020 11:20

The op appears to be new to mumsnet yesterday. And it's half-term...

Cosmos45 · 27/05/2020 11:28

@Monstamio - I am hoping you are right..

BruceAndNosh · 27/05/2020 12:09

@Terralee

I like Dominic but spelt Dominik (like nik something) for a boy & Dominike (like Nike) for a girl. Very in the news.
I like Dominic is not a frequently used phrase at the moment!
OnlyJudyCanJudgeMe · 27/05/2020 12:28

There’s a girls thread too.

kahronah · 27/05/2020 12:31

@OnlyJudyCanJudgeMe yes.

@00100001 why the eyeroll. Do you prefer racism isn’t drawn attention to?

00100001 · 27/05/2020 13:15

Why is it racist?

FeelingTheBurn · 27/05/2020 13:17

@SoupDragon

Many successful people have unique names

Do they....?

Depends you define success as being Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian or not, I suspect.
Worriedaboutthefuture1 · 27/05/2020 13:19

How about
Skdnianbdodhakrnbauxkrowkqhhaihekaugdifkns

Pronounced as it’s spelt

panicstationsready · 27/05/2020 13:21

As your name is Kahronah how about Vyruiss, Panndhemeec or (my favourite) Khoveed?

FlamingoAndJohn · 27/05/2020 13:24

@00100001

Why is it racist?
Because some people seem to assume that a badly spelt name, especially one starting with a Ja sound is a black name? Which I think is more racist to be honest.
PeppaisaBitch · 27/05/2020 13:24

I can't work out if you're serious or not.
You are naming a human person. Why give them a ridiculous name that they will be judged on their whole life. You make yourself sound illiterate and I think it's akin to child abuse.

Toomuchgoingon · 27/05/2020 13:53

This post and the girls version have me laughing out loud.

Brilliant.

EmpressLangClegInChair · 27/05/2020 14:12

Super, Cali, Fragilistic, Expi, Ali & Docious would be great for a family of six. The OP could even drop some extra vowels in.

GabsAlot · 27/05/2020 14:15

Twat or twatty?

EmbarrassedUser · 28/05/2020 09:28

Please no 🤦‍♀️ These are all dreadful.

EmbarrassedUser · 28/05/2020 09:30

Great full 😂 @kahronah You know it’s grateful don’t you? The names just look like you can’t spell.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 28/05/2020 09:57

@EmbarrassedUser

Great full 😂 *@kahronah* You know it’s grateful don’t you? The names just look like you can’t spell.
No! *@kahronah* is full of great! That’s what she meant. Wink
kahronah · 28/05/2020 10:23

@EmbarrassedUser You knew what I meant, didn't you? So what's it matter. Have you never made a mistake? Was you always this perfect??

SoupDragon · 28/05/2020 10:55

Have you never made a mistake?

Everyone makes mistakes. Using any of those "names" would be a big one.

Alphablocs · 28/05/2020 12:21

I would pick Jayce. I have met one before and it was easy to remember and spell.

kahronah · 28/05/2020 12:53

@Alphablocs Thankyou.

JengaNonConfirming · 28/05/2020 12:58

Thing is OP you talk about have special names, but Leo (however you spell it) is a nice, but quite ordinary name. All you are doing is taking a name and giving it a weird spelling, people won't hear the spelling. So will only think anything us different if they see it written down and to be honest I don't think anyone will think anything is wow or special, more likely they'll just think it's odd and feel sorry for the name's owner.
