Hi

Looking for a nice classy girls name.

Popularity doesn’t bother me, but just looking for something classy and elegant.

I like Arabella and Charlotte.

My husband likes Emily and Sarah.

Any suggestions? And your thoughts about my current list?

I really like Sarah. So many Sarahs in my age group (thirties) now, that it’s the sort of name you sort of gloss over. But if you stop and concentrate on it, it’s actually rather lovely. I’d be excited if I met a baby Sarah! Seems unusual now. All the Sarahs I know are smashing, too.

Emily is ultra boring and not so classy. How about Rosalind, Juliette, Cassia, Antonia, Laura, Clarissa?

Emily is dull as paint and Sarah is too popular to have a particularly ‘classy’ vibe. Charlotte is alright but again, too popular for me to think any more of it than ‘it’s alright’.

I love Charlotte and Sarah, and quite like Arabella too. I’m really not keen on Emily, I much prefer Emilia.

Alexandra is lovely, as is Elizabeth. Miranda is also pretty.
