How many people with the same first name as you did you go to school with?

In primary school , I was in with 2 others who had the same first name as me.

None in either junior or senior school, Alison, I'm early sixties, it did become massively popular later. My catholic schools were full of Margaret's, Mary's and Catherine's.

None in my primary school, or at university. One in my year group at secondary.

7 of us with the same name in primary school.
2 at secondary school.
Just me at university and at work.

One, she was a close friend of mine and we loved sharing the same name we thought it was great. I dont hear my name that often if i do its usually women roughly the same age as me. Never hear a baby or child with my name.

Two. One in my small primary and then another in secondary who became a guided friend. Which is weird because I've hardly met any others in later life!

Several...I was born in the 40s and Valerie was quite popular. I hated it and I see there has never been a revival apart from Julian Clary’s dog!

It is however incredibly popular now.

However.......! 1 in primary and 2 in secondary (in total) who had same name as their nn. I e never actually met another female with the same name as me despite it officially being a unisex name.

Only 1 other in the year group . More if you count my full name, but only 1 that is the same shorter name that I have always been known as.

There was 1 Emily in the year group and I thought it a very unusual old fashioned name- got a lot more popular since.

In my primary school there were four of us with the same first name as me. Plus three Claires and three Lindsey/Lyndseys, two Daniels, two Lees and two Nathan's.

There are four Jack's in DS1's secondary class, two Sam's and three Alexs. Two Alfie's and two Irises.

None at primary. only one I can remember from secondary, but she was never in my class. None from university. About 4 of us at work.

None, I was the only one definitely up until secondary and then I don't think there was anybody.

At primary, five in a class of 15. At secondary, three out of 20.

Regular, classic girl's name, nothing fashionable or unique, not "of its time" or anything else. Since school, I have never made a friend with that name, and certainly don't know anyone else my age with it - just a weird anomaly (with variations of spelling)!

My youngest daughter is likely to be in the same position at the end of her education. Second daughter also none - first daughter - 3 in her class alone!
