How many people with the same first name as you did you go to school with?

In primary school , I was in with 2 others who had the same first name as me.

None and I've only met one other person with my name, ever. I love having an unusual name!

Absolutely loads.
Maybe 6 in my year at secondary school

1 in my class and a now I have 2 friends with the same name and 1 with the same name but spelling variation.

We all socialize together and we have never been bothered by it, we have nicknames based on our surnames.

None. I was the only one all through school

None in my year at primary school, one in my year in secondary. It wasn’t a very popular name at the time but has blown up in recent years sadly.

One other in my primary school.
None in my secondary.
One in my college.
But as a mum, almost every other mum has my name.

I think there was usually about one per year with my name

One and one teacher.

Never met anybody younger than me with my name, as it was I was named after my aunt.

Never met another person with my name. Probably because it’s foreign...

3 or 4 in every class! I've always loved my name though.

At secondary school there were 6 of us with the same name. My name isn’t particularly common.

There’s always statistical glitches!

About 4 people had my name which is why I changed the spelling of it to be different and it’s still spelt that way.

I have a very common ‘80s name.

None here either! It's getting much more popular now (Matilda).

DH has a really common name, and I always find it fascinating that he knows lots of people with him name. It feels so alien to me. Whenever I hear a little girl called Matilda I get so excited

My name isn’t Matilda, Basil, so no need to get excited .

I’m actually called Katherine. I’m in my mid 40s, and was one of 4 or 5 Katherines in my primary class - albeit all with different spelling. If the teacher snapped “Be quiet, Katherine”, there was silence in the class, as all the Katherines , and the people we were talking to shut up.

None and have never met anyone else with the same name as me in all my almost 50yrs!

None. I had a Middle Aged ladies name. I’m now middle aged and my name is for people 20-30 years older than me.

None. Have never met anyone with my name... and have spent most of my life wishing I had a name that people knew and didn't comment on 😳
