My 2018 baby is now 1 and a half and I'd love to know where her name comes.
So top predictions.

I have a 2018 baby too - very interested!

I predict Grayson to have shot up the charts. I know tons of baby Graysons.

And I wouldn’t be surprised if Amelia replaces Olivia at the top...

cakesandphotos · 01/08/2019 12:34

I have a 2018 baby too, though I doubt his name will be up there. I agree with Harry, maybe Arlo. Not sure about girls name though

margosims · 01/08/2019 12:49

Aubrey, Luna & Violet for girls !

Backhometothenorth · 01/08/2019 12:53

Iris, Ivy, Bella, Eliza to continue to shoot up. Millions of them!

taylorlynn · 01/08/2019 12:59

Harper and Layla

BabloHoney · 01/08/2019 14:17

Archie, Theo, Noah, Rory, Sebastian for boys

Grace, Luna, Evie, Harper, Mia for girls.

Pippilangstrumpfi · 01/08/2019 14:26

Oops, I think I meant Ezra in the OP. Not Enzo! I get confused with all the vowelly boys names (Ezra/ Arlo/ Otto etc).

HappyDinosaur · 01/08/2019 20:20

I think Eliza, Amber and Esme will have increased for girls and Milo, Ezra and Greyson/Harrison for the boys.

SnowdropFox · 01/08/2019 20:22

I'm sure I've seen the ones for Scotland and N.Ireland kicking about or at least the highlights from them. In Scotland I think Olivia and Jack were top.

Adora-Belle is now on my shortlist if we ever decide to have another wee one!

IsobelRae23 · 01/08/2019 20:27

Boys:- Ezra, Theo, Teddy, Grayson, Arlo,

Girls:- Luna, Iris, Ivy, Harper, Willow, Aubrey,

Sophronia · 01/08/2019 22:19

I think Ivy, Esme, Theo and Arlo will increase in popularity.

Sophronia · 01/08/2019 22:42

I have a 2018 baby too but I think his name will probably have decreased in popularity. It was more popular in the 90s.

Poetryinaction · 01/08/2019 22:43

Thanks Snowdrop. That's an interesting read.

Heaps of new names entering like those mentioned above so I reckon we will see a significant drop in names that have been around for 20 odd years in the top 10 / 20 e.g Chloe, Jessica, Lucy, Ellie, Hannah, Georgia, Samuel, Ben, Luke, Matthew etc

Surname names for boys will rise e.g Carter will definitely shoot up.

Elijah, Finn, Rory are others.

Orla seems to be quite popular, as does Hallie and Darcie so they will probably increase.

99bb · 02/08/2019 09:48

Never understand why it takes so long for these to come out - don’t the US manage it way earlier than us? And they’ve got far more babies and more complexity

Militantmartha · 02/08/2019 12:25

I hear of lots of baby boys called Arlo and Theo and more called Enzo, Ezra, Issac and Jasper

Lots of baby girls called Ada, Iris, Ivy, Rose, Mabel, Florence, Willow now hearing more of the names Wren and also Astrid

Ellmau · 02/08/2019 13:08

Eloise seems to be on the rise, I don’t know what the inspiration is, I never herd of it until recently but now I know of. A Few baby Elodies.
