what do people think of the name, Season

I really like this name. It means fertile and I like that it has a growth name meaning. Jackson means son of Jack and so Season sounds like son of the sea which I love. I also like the feeling of the seasons of your life with bringing a human being into the world. Season also sounds a bit like Caesar and I like the fact that the second S sounds a bit like a Z. For a girl I think season has a cool nature vibe too and Alison, Addison don't sound masculine so Season certainly wouldn't and it sounds a bit alternative. I've never heard of this being a name though and I wonder if anyone else has. It does come up on a baby meaning list but I hadn't heard it

Awful, don't do this to your child.

YouDidntJustSayThat · 23/06/2019 16:22

I'm pretty go with the flow.. but I wouldn't. Nope.

lunar1 · 23/06/2019 16:22

Change your own name to Season, call your dd Alison.

bankholidaybinger · 23/06/2019 16:22

Are you having a laugh?

DramaAlpaca · 23/06/2019 16:23

Good lord no! It doesn't matter how much you are trying to justify it in your OP, it's not a name, it's ridiculous.

'Season the baby' Grin

Bunnybigears · 23/06/2019 16:23

Season? as in, my dog is having her season.

Mylittlepony374 · 23/06/2019 16:25

Salt and Pepper. That's my first thought.

BadHairDyeDay · 23/06/2019 16:27

Jackson means son of Jack and so Season sounds like son of the sea . Is the sea the baby's father?Confused

lazymare · 23/06/2019 16:27

No

Cyberworrier · 23/06/2019 16:30

I found your little explanation of why you like it rather sweet, but I have to agree with PP that it’s not a name, it’s adding flavour to a dish, dog periods, and something young children learn about.
Also Addison may not sound masculine to you, but it sounds like a major London taxi firm to me.
If you like connotations of the sea or the seasons, I bet you could find some lovely names that wouldn’t be potentially burdens on to your future child?
Actual names of the seasons, Summer, Autumn, Winter (please not Spring though!). Sea names: Marina, Coral (Coralije/Coralie), Muriel..

hellojim · 23/06/2019 16:31

son of the sea for a girl? Surely Seadaughter!!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 23/06/2019 16:32

Oh its nice. However I think of the seasons eg spring summer etc rather then the sun of the sea. The son of the sea wouldn't have crossed my mind in a billion years.
On here though its not likely get a welcome reception. If your kids aren't called Ava and Charlie, its too try hard.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 23/06/2019 16:36

Lord, no.

It's not even dog periods. It's when my slut of a bitch would let any male dog in a five mile radius have his evil way with her.

raspberrycordial · 23/06/2019 16:37

It's nice but Seezahn would be a nicer spelling Wink

SinkGirl · 23/06/2019 16:38

Not good I’m afraid

floramcdougal · 23/06/2019 16:42

It’s awful and a dog period

bobsyourauntie · 23/06/2019 16:48

No, just no. It is not a name and it is awful.

MikeUniformMike · 23/06/2019 16:48

How about Week instead,

BrendasUmbrella · 23/06/2019 16:53

BadHairDyeDay You think all fathers of Jacksons are named Jack?

Userwhatevernumber · 23/06/2019 16:57

Makes me think of seasoning

Definitely too OTT with the try hard

TatianaLarina · 23/06/2019 16:57

Triplets could be Season 1, 2 and 3. Hell get the boxset.

GeorgiaGirl52 · 23/06/2019 16:57

BadHairDyeDay · 23/06/2019 16:58

@BrendasUmbrella of course not. I was just following on from the logic of the OP 🙄

historysock · 23/06/2019 17:16

Not good.

Contraceptionismyfriend · 23/06/2019 17:17

You can't do that to a person.
