Pig. Sorry

DramaAlpaca · 15/04/2019 20:36

It's slang for penis too. Just no.

HavelockVetinari · 15/04/2019 20:36

Weasley

Sexnotgender · 15/04/2019 20:37

Pig for me too unfortunately.

Ellieboolou27 · 15/04/2019 20:37

Pig

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 15/04/2019 20:38

The country isn’t ready for Percy’s.

powershowerforanhour · 15/04/2019 20:39

The annoying mummy's boy in The White Horse Gang. Sorry.

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 15/04/2019 20:40

I’m obviously in a minority, but I really like Percy. The little Percy I know is a Perseus rather than a Percival.

Chocolateisfab · 15/04/2019 20:42

Percy the Park keeper

Ratatatouille · 15/04/2019 20:43

I know a little Percy and honestly he couldn’t be anything else. He’s a proper cheeky chap and it just suits him. That’s who I think of when I hear the name; not pigs and park keepers. If you love the name, go for it.

Orchidflower1 · 15/04/2019 20:45

I like it.

BlueMerchant · 15/04/2019 20:45

I don't like it. I think of a train.

Topseyt · 15/04/2019 20:46

M & S sell Percy Pig sweets.

It was also the name little boys often gave to their willies when I was growing up.

DharmaInitiativeLady · 15/04/2019 21:11

It's a no from me.

FurrySlipperBoots · 15/04/2019 21:12

I think the NSPCC would get involved.

MollyHuaCha · 15/04/2019 21:19

Not a fan.

RuthW · 15/04/2019 21:27

Love it

Langrish · 15/04/2019 21:28

Blackadder. Sorry.

LittleMissMummaBear · 15/04/2019 21:29

Oop, no. Its alright as a nn for Persephone tho x

LittleMissMummaBear · 15/04/2019 21:30

Ohhh just realised for a boy! well for what its worth I grew up with a Percy and he was a class a lad so at least I have some good connections to it! x

vegpatch · 15/04/2019 21:32

I like it...it's cute and a bit quirky in the way names like fred, Henry, Stan etc are. It's cute for a baby and kind of cool for someone older.

stellarfox · 15/04/2019 21:33

Interesting mix of responses! I really like it and I think it would be quite cute/handsome. I get the pig association but can’t say that bothers me and I don’t think that slang is very common now?!

Weasley/pig.

bellsbuss · 15/04/2019 21:40

I love it.

Lelly0503 · 15/04/2019 21:40

This is outing but it’s my Ds name. I got a lot of the above comments from family members when I was pregnant but funnily enough they now all love the name and love him! Names are so personal anyway if you like it then go for it
