Names for a ballerina?

Hi! This is just a character design, not having child.
I am currently trying to write a book, and need some help for one of the main character.
She is shy on the outside, but once you get to know her, she is the craziest person ever. She's kind, sweet, soft-hearted, gentle, and love animals. She is also a dog person. She is Asian and a ballerina. She likes to paint, dance(obviously), explore the nature(ex: play in the forest),sing and is pretty good at it. Ballet is her everything.
Since this is more like a "daily life" theory, I would prefer all of them to have a middle name, just in case I need it.
I would like it to be an uncommon, three or two syllable, soft-souding(ex:luna, definitely not harper), feminine girl name(also, it would be great if it ends in a). Her last name is jing.
So what do you guys think?

Ok, so I'm sorry if I'm not clear on the Asian part---She is Chineses, and I would like her name to be a normal English name ( still uncommon though), but not like some Japanese name.

I was going to suggest Lucinda and Paloma until you cut back on the number of syllables.

Is the character ever going to use a Chinese name? In which case, you could look at good marry-ups between the naming traditions (though the only one I can think of is MeiLi and May

Otherwise: Margot, Sylvie, Giselle, Celina, Colette, Yasmin, Laura, Petra, Posy

I know someone who has taken the Western name Echo. Quite nice in terms of mythology, she was chatty, outgoing, beautiful. Came to a bit of a sticky end though!

When you say ballerina, do you mean she is a ballerina in a top company, much feted? If she's in the ballet world, there's a big difference between a ballet dancer and a ballerina. And surely her name will have been given to her by her parents, so it could be anything. Or do you mean she's adopted a new "ballet" name, like Margot Fonteyn did?

mogtheexcellent · 02/02/2019 14:14

DD has a ballerina doll named Floella.
