Just found out that we're having a girl. We were convinced it was a boy and only really thought of boy's names (on no evidence whatsoever). Any suggestions for a name. DD is Anna. We have reluctantly decided against Elsa.

Anna & Eleanor has a great ring to it might be slightly biased and many nicknames for Eleanor if your DH isn't keen...

Based on your last update I think it has to be Ellen! And Anna and Ellen go really well together, timeless and beautiful names, not overly popular, and have a sort of nice symmetry to them!

ThunderR0ad78 · 19/01/2019 22:12

I have an Annabelle and my second child, if another girl was going to be Clara, we had a boy though so didn't get to use it!

Id definatly go with another short and elegant name
Lily. Lois. Erin. Lucy. Rose/a. Leah. Mary. Beth. Kate. Jane.

My DD17 is Elise , she didn’t have a name for 4 weeks as I just couldn’t decide but loved it when I found it in a baby book. It’s still slightly unusual I think (she has never met another Elise yet) so I’m not overly sure it goes with Anna which to me is more of a classic name. Sophie, Jessica and Emily seem to go.

lottiegarbanzo · 19/01/2019 22:56

Oh yes, Sophie, Lucy, Jessica, Isabel.

lottiegarbanzo · 19/01/2019 22:57

Juliet would be nice but I agree Clara would go beautifully.

SnowBambino · 19/01/2019 23:51

Anna and Francesca for me. Anna was my grandmother’s name and she was Italian, so to me it pairs best with other Italian sounding names.

Maziemouse · 19/01/2019 23:54
