Short edgy girls names?

So I am due in two weeks and still struggling to decide on a name for our baby girl. We both like short names and so far we like either indie or coco... what’s everyone’s thoughts on these names? Also any suggestions are welcome! Thank you!

I like:
Astrid
Zena
Cleo

Indie and coco seem more like nicknames to me, I prefer Indie out of the 2.

Justfred · 16/07/2018 15:40

Ooh Petra's cool.

ErrantBakedBean · 16/07/2018 15:41

I've known a few Indies and Cocos lately so I suppose it depends if the 'edgy' bit for you relies on them not being that popular? May just be where I live though. Out of the two, I prefer Coco.

Juno is the name id have loved for a girl.

caughtinthemiddle2 · 16/07/2018 15:45

I prefer Coco out of your names as its less common I know a boy and a girl Indie. I love the name Rae for a girl.

June. Nora. Carla. Lindy. Maude. Sybil. Freda.Lisa. Amity.Sian. Adele. Annie.
Clare which I shouldn't really recommend as it's my name and I hate it, but I actually think it'd be quite cool and egdy for a baby today.

I like Lena/Lina, both the name itself and also because the namesake in Ray Donovan (US TV show) is kick-ass. Lena Dunham (actress) is also pretty strong as a woman in the media industry.

There's also Rey from Star Wars, but that might be a bit weird.

Following with interest. Coco doesn’t do it for me (perhaps it’s a bit cutesy for my taste) - I do like indie but it’s coming rapidly up in popularity

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 16/07/2018 15:53

Enid. Debra. Rita. Tina.

BexleyRae · 16/07/2018 15:54

Rae

I love Indie Smile

TheVanguardSix · 16/07/2018 15:54

Also there’s a girl called Bibi in DD’s class, which I think is a cool, punchy name.

holyshitdude · 16/07/2018 15:55

Nova

UnlawfulBananaPeeler · 16/07/2018 15:55

Another vote for Rae.

My second would have been Posie if he was a girl.

Also Emery, Liberty (Libs/Libby), Dottie,

Ginorchoc · 16/07/2018 15:56

I know an Andie which I thought was pretty cool.

Helpel · 16/07/2018 15:57

I like Juno, Rae and Coco.
Our little girl is called Suki. Not everyone's cup of tea but we love it.

hedgebackwards · 16/07/2018 15:57

Not keen on either of them I'm afraid.

Indie = Indiana Jones
Coco = poodle
