Not quite that close. You're right with the first part of extra witch...

LadyGAgain · 10/03/2019 07:28

Mildred?

DuggeeHugs · 12/03/2019 17:18

Not Mildred I'm afraid. And also a less famous relative of Nessie

OP posts:
FintyTin · 12/03/2019 20:22

Morag?

DuggeeHugs · 13/03/2019 13:19

Yes @FintyTin has it!

The Latin meaning of Morag can be moor whilst the Gaelic can be sun. There are/were Morag characters in Home and Away, Eastenders and, of course, Katie Morag on Cbeebies. The extra witch clue was an attempt at the almost phonetic More Hag. Morag is also the name of the second most famous loch monster in Scotland.

Over to you!

Well done @FintyTin and nice clues @DuggeeHugs! Grin

LadyGAgain · 13/03/2019 21:22

Well done!!!

finallychangedmyusername · 16/03/2019 10:03

Can we please have a new clue @FintyTin? Smile

FintyTin · 16/03/2019 20:52

Great clues, DuggeeHugs - it was the monster clue that clinched it for me...and catching up on Shetland.

Apologies for being so slow with a new clue, I’ve been working lots of overtime this week!! I have scoured the list and can’t see this one on there so I don’t think it’s been done before. I’m out of practice, so I hope it’s not too easy.

This crabby little fellow may have the formula for speed. Don’t confuse him with his sibling or he might take flight.

LadyGAgain · 16/03/2019 22:15

Sebastian?

finallychangedmyusername · 17/03/2019 09:17

I think @LadyGAgain has it with Sebastian!

FintyTin · 17/03/2019 20:37

Yes, we’ll done! I knew that one was too easy!

Over to you @LadyGAgain!

LadyGAgain · 19/03/2019 13:45

Yay! Thanks @FintyTin - great clues. I love the Little Mermaid!

Here we go...

She’s a con-artist, inquisitive and fast footed. She lives in the east end and also in Wales. She’s English but was resurrected in Greece.

finallychangedmyusername · 20/03/2019 20:20

Tiffany?

LadyGAgain · 21/03/2019 19:21

Not Tiffany sorry!

finallychangedmyusername · 21/03/2019 21:28

Ooh, Stacey/Stacie?

Stacey Dooley is inquisitive
The name comes from the Greek
Welsh link with Gavin and Stacey
Stacey ChepkemboiNdiwa is fast footed- a long distance runner
Stacie Monroe in the Hustle

finallychangedmyusername · 21/03/2019 21:30

... and Stacey Slater in Eastenders. Knew I had forgotten one! Grin

LadyGAgain · 21/03/2019 22:51

Well done @finallychangedmyusername ! The Greek link was to do with being a derivative of Anastasia which means resurrection but yours works perfectly too!
Over to you Grin

finallychangedmyusername · 22/03/2019 18:08

Yay! Next one.

His 'friends' might try and walk all over him. He's got about a dozen though, so should be ok.

LadyGAgain · 23/03/2019 19:29

I'm so sure that this isn't Jesus but it makes me think about the name Jesus!

LadyGAgain · 23/03/2019 19:33

So I'll go with BrianSmile

finallychangedmyusername · 23/03/2019 20:42

Mwah haha, neither Jesus nor Brian I'm afraid. You're right to think biblically though....

finallychangedmyusername · 27/03/2019 07:23

No more guesses? Smile

Thu guy shares his name with several actors and a cartoonist.

finallychangedmyusername · 27/03/2019 07:24

Thu?! Sorry - autocorrect- This guy...

LadyGAgain · 27/03/2019 13:41
