If you’re interested in the popularity of those names, the Darkgreener website is great for checking out how popular individual names have been in England and Wales since 1996.

None of those names are all that popular, but there’s one or two of them that have sharply risen in popularity over the last few years (Betty, Ida, Dorothy)

MumofBoysx2 · 26/05/2018 23:23

emsyj37 Sydney is a unisex name Hmm

MiniAlphaBravo · 26/05/2018 23:24

I’ve met a baby John at a toddler group and I know a 2 year old girl called Sydney. I also met a young Dorothy the other day. We had the name on our shortlist but chose something else in the end. The various Alfie’s I know are just Alfie, not Alfred.

MadeForThis · 26/05/2018 23:24

None

Sophronia · 26/05/2018 23:25

1 Alfred 1 Mary

Zoflorabore · 26/05/2018 23:25
