How many Dexters do you know?

DS is 4mo and is named Dexter. We liked it for many reasons but one of them was that is was quite low down on the popularity scale. Quite often when people ask his name they say 'oh my friend just called their baby Dexter!' It's obviously not a big deal, it's just a name so please don't think I'm being a special snowflake. My 3yo DNiece is an Isla and they thought it was a very rare name, and now it's in the top 10 I think so I guess it got me wondering if DP and I have made the same mistake.
So MNs, how many Dexter's, if any, do you know?

Forgot to add, it's a lovely name, don't be disheartened by it being popular. 2 of my DC have popular names but I love them and they are classics

Two under 5. My son’s name is the same! I knew it was on the up when we picked it but I’ve been hearing it it everywhere since he was born!

Dexter is a great name btw.

Just the one and he happens to be my son!

Have heard of two kids at school who have Dexters as younger siblings.

Anyone who tells you it’s a dog’s name just smile. Any name can be a dog’s name!

It’s an awesome name - I’m so pleased we picked it.
