Gothy Baby Girl Names

Hi all,

Dh and I are a little bit gothy. Well, goths that grew up and got jobs and whatnot. But still really like all things dark, mystical and Victoriana.

We're expecting a little girl soon but still at the brainstorming stage for names.

So far we like:

Ophelia
Briar
Hazel
Beatrice
Cecily
Opal
Phaedra
Violet
Morgan / Morgana

Don't love anything yet.

Can you think of anything we might like? Not comedy witch-style, but would fit our taste. Middle names too please - have no family ones that we'd like to use.

DS is Vincent Zephyr.

From your latest list, Briar Vivienne Gallagher sounds wonderful.
(And definitely gives a mystical/Victorian vibe!).

So many really great names on this thread, though, OP...not surprised you're finding it tough to narrow down.

Vivienne is my favourite however you spell it. I'm not sure any if the middle name combinations you have with it stand out to me, although all are nice.

I fancied Xenon as a middle name for my DD but was vetoed. It would fit nicely with Zephyr too.

Is Vivienne not too similar to Vincent?

Not worried about the initials because the sex is different (Mr/Ms on post) but because of the identical Vi sound.

I know a family with a little girl called Vela... I think it's celestial, but it's also pretty goth!

I think of dull and slow cars for both Allegra and opal, sorry.

I'm liking Raven and Hazel best.

Vivienne is nice, but IME it's a pain in the arse having the same initial as your big brother. We were always having school work mixed up etc.
