What would your children be called if...

I'm just curious and thought it would be an interesting topic as I know parents don't agree on everything. What would you have named you child/children if your DP didn't have a say in it?

The same as they're called now. DH thinks we compromised on names. Not exactly true

Probably pretty similar to what they are called! My DH never makes suggestions, so he's vetoed a few names but a lot of things I like have grown on him over the course of 9 months!

Daniel, for my grandad.

It was also the name of DH’s School bully. So was vetoed.

Or is it Christophe? I would have had to work on the spelling.

I got my own way

I want Freddie if current pregnancy is a boy, but we've agreed on Henry

Lydia. DH had had a massive crush on a Lydia at 15, so vetoed it. I loved that name.

Roscoe. DH said it's a dogs name.

I still love our sons name but if I got my own way it would have been Austin.

Bruno and Dylan

DS1 would still have been Samuel, as that was my choice.

DS2 would have been Edward

DD1 would have been Matilda.

DD2 would have been Arabella.

Isambard and Isis

Heidi. School bike apparently.
Xanthe. Not sure why.
Still wish I'd been able to use my favourite names for the children that I pushed out of my foof, but hey.

Same as they are called now. DH agreed with all my suggestions, including the middle names, so naming them was easy.

If DH had had his way we would have had a Genghis as he thinks it goes well with our name. And that was for DD!!

Dcs real names are in a similar vein to this so not 100% sure what turned DH away from these.
