Favourite spelling of the name Beau

Just found out we are having a girl, our favourite name is Beau but I am stuck on the spelling as since Beau has become more popular as I know a few boys called Beau and that spelling feels more like a boys name to me.

I really like Bo but husband hates the fact that when she spells it, she will have to say B O as in 'I have bad BO'. Do get his point to be fair.

Then there is Bow but to me that just looks like an object rather than a name.

Which do you think is best?

Beau is a boy's name. It's the masculine form of 'beautiful' in French. The female equivalent is Belle.

Belle.

Beau is a masculine name/word.

Beau can't be a feminine spelling as the word is a masculine french word.

Beau is as mentioned above the masculine form of the french word for beautiful although actress Bo Derek did have the "B" "o" spelling for her name. I don't think I could lumber a child with the possibility that other kids were call her B-O

Beau is a boys name. And you spell it Beau.

I know a few Bo's but they are all male and from Sweden
Beau is a boys name but if that doesn't bother you then go for it.

Since Beau, Bow and Bo don't work for you, how about Boe? It's odd but it would give you the sound you want.

For a girl? Belle.

Beau is a boy's name, and that is the only correct spelling.

But does it really matter if the parents like the name? I opted for traditional names that other people dislike but it would not have affected my decision to choose those names.
Op if you like the name go for it :)

Beau feels like a boy's spelling because it is a boy's name.

I think you mean Belle.

Well I genuinely didn't realise the spelling Beau was masculine I got it from a baby name app which said it was unisex. See photo attached. Also distantly know of two female Bo's admittedly not spelt Beau though.

Professor Crawford think your response says more about your intelligence/character then mine.

Thanks to those who answered the original question.
