@ladybirdsaredotty I'd say it's a fine name to use, look at the lovely character he can read about when he's older and it's the largest sea, I think any boy would love the name not being one of six in the class with the same name, you can always shorten it to Casper as well if you wanted. Good luck with the name choosing

Just realised auto correct made my last post incorrect - Titty in Swallows & Amazons is short for Titania, not Tatiana.

And yes, I always thought that about Artemis, because it was another name I'd have liked for a DD I never had. There was no way DH would have entertained it for a DS. Years of writing Christmas cards have made me grateful (DSs all have short names).

DH suggested Odette from swan lake today for DD2's middle name but I'm not keen really

I think I like the idea of the character behind the names as much as the name itself.

Lyra HDM (DD is having this as her middle name if we get round to it before she turns one funnily enough she has a name mentioned here too! Though it wasn't chosen for the literary reference as it's character is not female)
