Nanasueathome · 07/04/2017 15:11

Never heard of it..
Had to be a no

clairethewitch70 · 07/04/2017 15:11

Reminds me of bacon, beer can

bialystockandbloom · 07/04/2017 15:11

Any reason why?
Because it's not a name and it sounds awful?

Wishiwasmoiradingle2017 · 07/04/2017 15:11

For a dog - a vegan beagle!!

rainbowstardrops · 07/04/2017 15:13

Why? Because it sounds like a cross between beagle and vegan.
Is it for a boy or a girl not that that would make a difference

HappyAxolotl · 07/04/2017 15:13

Nah, not a fan. It sounds like beagle as in the dog and Beadle as in Jeremy!

WillowTreeBranch · 07/04/2017 15:13

It is a name... It's Gaelic Hmm

user1483387154 · 07/04/2017 15:14

I agree with PP's it sounds like a dog. Beagle.

rainbowstardrops · 07/04/2017 15:14

Ha! Great minds think alike Wish!

TinfoilHattie · 07/04/2017 15:14

It's awful, sorry.

TheBookIsOnTheTable · 07/04/2017 15:14

It just sounds weird (in a bad way) to me, sorry.

MitzyLeFrouf · 07/04/2017 15:15

If it is an Irish name I'd guess it's a surname. It would mean small one.

It just looks a bit comedic for some reason.

floatingfrog · 07/04/2017 15:15

Nope

goodpiemissedthechips · 07/04/2017 15:16

Vegan x beagle or Bega (town in Australia).

Is a person from Bega a Beagan?

I'm pretty sure people would hear "Vegan" as in "Hi, I'm vegan" and be thinking 'Erm that's nice, me too, but what's your actual name?'

Also too close to 'bogan' which is a type of Australian chav (sorry to sound judgemental there, not sure how else to explain).

Sorry OP.

WillowTreeBranch · 07/04/2017 15:17

Okay... Thanks for the opinions.

I don't mind opinions, but using this cross out feature to tell me it isn't a name is unnecessary and that I've made it up is unnecessary.

Ontopofthesunset · 07/04/2017 15:17

How is it pronounced? Is it like Reagan with a B (Bagan)? Or like Keegan (Beegan)? Or is it a Gaelic pronunciation so it's something like Bayvan (disclaimer - don't speak any Gaelic or Irish)? It's not familiar so looks odd.

Balonz?
