I don't watch much TV, so didn't watch this program. Really gutted.

He's 8 months, but no one has really ever said anything. I've had a few "oh, like..." but I've just smiled, thinking "who?" and just got on with my day.

Would you change it?

The same full name do you mean?

hawaiibaby · 03/12/2016 20:50

Tell us!!

JaimeLannister · 03/12/2016 20:51

After 8 months it is his name now. If no one has really said anything then it can't be a huge celebrity.

Raines100 · 03/12/2016 20:51

All depends on the celebrity. What's the name? The last thread like this, none of us had heard of the celeb anyway.

DearMrDilkington · 03/12/2016 20:51

Joey?

frikadela01 · 03/12/2016 20:51

I'm dying to know the name now. Personally if you like that name then sod everyone else.

For what it's worth my Ds has the same name as a very famous character from a film series both me and dp are huge fans of (think collecting the memorabilia, dp has tattoos). Ds isn't actually named after this character, it's just a name we both love but everyone obviously assumes it's after the character. I couldn't care less.

Soubriquet · 03/12/2016 20:52

You will have to say the name now!

Charlotteee1402 · 03/12/2016 20:52

Louis Walsh

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 03/12/2016 20:54

I don't think that's too bad.

HardcoreLadyType · 03/12/2016 20:54

There was a girl at my DDs school called Grace Kelly.

It always made me smile a little.

Is your DSs namesake very famous? Is he likely not be be famous in 10 years time?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 03/12/2016 20:55

OMG. You'd never heard of Louis Walsh.

Is he Louie or Louis though.

Soubriquet · 03/12/2016 20:55

That's not too bad

Easily forgotten as a celebrity as he hadn't been around much lately

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 03/12/2016 20:56

Charlotteee1402 · 03/12/2016 20:56

One of my dc has the name of a marvel superhero. I didn't know until well after he was named.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 03/12/2016 20:57

My dd went to school with a Michael Jackson. He wasn't teased all the children were fascinated by him abs thought it was fab

Arsenicinthesugarbowl · 03/12/2016 20:57

His name is fine!!! I was thinking something truly outlandish!

HardcoreLadyType · 03/12/2016 20:58

Oh, x posted.

I don't think anyone will think about Louis Walsh when your DS is old enough for his peers to be watching that kind of television.

It would be like a teenager today being called Jim Davidson, or something like that. Someone who used to be a bit famous.

Soubriquet · 03/12/2016 20:58

You don't need to post his birth certificate!!

BikeRunSki · 03/12/2016 20:58

I have the same name as an extremely well known male rock star. It raises a few eyebrows and the odd comment, but not on a bad way. I suspect that Louis Walsh will not be that well known for that long. My namesake's heyday was a good 20 years ago, but people still know who he is.

FatOldBag · 03/12/2016 20:58

Cute name, I think it's fine - not like Michael Jackson or something where you automatically think of the celeb.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 03/12/2016 20:58

Like Boris Johnson. Grin
