To rhyme with plot or with the same sound as the ending of toilet?

Clear as mud I'm sure!

tabulahrasa · 18/11/2016 20:24

To rhyme with mutt or tut...which isn't quite the same as toilet

EccentricPickle · 18/11/2016 20:25

Actually, I probably pronounce it more like PrimaryTeach1987 does.

scrivette · 18/11/2016 20:25

My Mum says Shar lut.
We both think the other is wrong!

In my head it sounds like Char-Lott to rhyme with it but I've just said it aloud and it actually sounds more like Char-let. Hmm.
