Angelica Lettice ... ... (my pick)
Lettice Thalia ... ...(DH's pick)

Frederik Bertram ... ... (DH's pick)
William Horatio ... ... (my pick)

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mummummummummm · 28/10/2016 22:21

Um, no. To all sorry!

MotherDuckSaid · 28/10/2016 22:21

Frederick and Angelica (not a fan of Lettice)!
But loooooove Horatio !

sonlypuppyfat · 28/10/2016 22:23

What are you thinking, are you writing a book about talking mice? Because no one should lumber a child with any of them

garlicandsapphire · 28/10/2016 22:23

Oh dear really? Fred is salvageable but other than that...

FlappyRose · 28/10/2016 22:23

I like Angelica, Thalia, Frederick and William. Lettice is awful though, sorry.

MrsDallowaySaid · 28/10/2016 22:24

Love Angelica but not brave enough here!

wobblywonderwoman · 28/10/2016 22:25

Lettuce was fan on Britain's got talent a few years back but I wouldn't go for that name

Others all fine Will, Fred perfectly handsome names

Quirky middle named but nothing wrong with that

allthatnonsense · 28/10/2016 22:26

Thalia Jane

William James

IMO the rest are a little try hard.

MotherDuckSaid · 28/10/2016 22:27

sonlypuppyfat- ohh ur post tickled me !

PotteringAlong · 28/10/2016 22:27

Definitely neither of the girls names. I quite like the boys ones.

MiniAlphaBravo · 28/10/2016 22:28

I like both the boys and Angelica. Not too sure about lettice although I know it's a real name, but not very good for a first name.

chowchowchow · 28/10/2016 22:29

Honest opinion? Lettice is not my taste AT ALL. Even auto correct wants to change it to Lettuce.

SpunkyMummy · 28/10/2016 22:34

These reactions are honestly very interesting. :)

Lettice was DH's favourite great aunt...

ballsdeep · 28/10/2016 22:35

I thought it was a salad

thatsn0tmyname · 28/10/2016 22:37

I like William. The others are too heavy/ weird, sorry.

CoffeeCoffeeAndLotsOfIt · 28/10/2016 22:42

No, no, no, no, no. Except William - that's a nice name.

everdene · 28/10/2016 22:43

Balls Lettice is a variation of Leticia.

OP I love William Horatio, I'm not a fan of Angelica in all honesty although I do know a sweet six year old one. She, too, has awesome middle names! For me it's a bit too cutesy to pass the 'judge test'. (One thing about Lettice too is to be aware that there's a series of popular picture books with a rabbit called Lettice.)

I like Frederik but Bertram isn't a name to which I warm.

Loyly · 28/10/2016 22:45

I only like Frederik from your list.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 28/10/2016 22:47

Angelica is nice Lettice is awful
William Horatio is fabulous!

albertcampionscat · 28/10/2016 22:47

I don't get the responses. Perfectly fine first names, quirky middle names but so what. It's not like you'd introduce yourself as Frederick-Bertram. You'd be Fred, or Freddie, or Frederick.

FWIW I slightly prefer your DH's choices. Lettice (nn Letty?) is lovely.

calzone · 28/10/2016 22:48

Just no.

ExitPursuedBySpartacus · 28/10/2016 22:48

Love love love Lettice.

SpunkyMummy · 28/10/2016 22:50

Bertram was the name of my something something uncle.

And our dog's name was Bertram (Bram-Bram).

However: Lettice really isn't a salad :)

OP posts:
Chinlo · 28/10/2016 22:50

The only really bad one is Lettice. That honestly sounds like a joke! Like calling a child Cabbige or Tomarto.

The rest are okay. Nothing that unusual about William or Frederick as first names, and okay the boy's middle names are a little unusual, but that's fine for middle names! That's what they're for in a way, right? I don't see a problem with Angelica or Thalia either.

SwedishEdith · 28/10/2016 22:51

I like all of your boys names and none of your girls. Bertram and Horatio are brilliant middle names.
