Looking at boys names for DS2 and struggling a bit. DS1 has a traditional top 10 name but we can't find another similar we like for DS2 so I'm thinking we might need to go a bit more unusual. So I'm looking for some inspiration!

Saw Kipling on a name list for boys and love it... Rudyard Kipling is one of my favourite authors.

Lead to this exchange though

Me: Oooh I love Kipling.
DH: Its the exceedingly good cakes
Me: Nooo as in Rudyard Kipling. Can't we put Kipling on the ideas list?
DH: Nooooo.
Me: Okay if it's a boy can we use Rudyard?...
DH: As in the lake 30 mins
Me: Well Rudyard Kipling's named after that lake.
DH: We should choose a different lake if we must have a lake name.
Me: Like what Windermere?
DH: That's not a lake, it's a mere :-P

We also have a baby Robert known as Bob. Everyone said it wasn't the right name for a baby at first but it suits him down to the ground Smile

I also like Albert (Bertie), Edward (Teddy, Ned) and Wilfred (Wilf). Theodore (which could also be Teddy) is DP's first choice for next baby due April, and it is growing on me although seems to be a fair few of them about.

Archer (hated on here)
Fergus

Benno
Edwin

....absolutely no rhyme or reason to any.
