What's your favourite (slightly) unusual boys name?

Looking at boys names for DS2 and struggling a bit. DS1 has a traditional top 10 name but we can't find another similar we like for DS2 so I'm thinking we might need to go a bit more unusual. So I'm looking for some inspiration!

I like Oran/Orin too though DP has ruled it out as it can sound a bit harsh with our accents

I love kit, although have just seen that's the name of Wayne Rooneys little boy!

Rooney's sons are Kai and Klay, not Kit Confused

Alaric. Dh thought it was too unusual so didn't have it for any my boys, sadly.
Also like Kit and Jude.

So many of you have mentioned Lawrence/Laurence. I have a Lawrence nn Lawrie. Everyone knows it, but it's not that popular. Great name.

He might have been Jamie, Murdo, Orlando. Glad we chose Lawrence.

Other names I liked:
Magnus
Christian nn Christy
Dominic

I'm struggling to say the names of Rooney's 3 kids together - bit of a tongue twister when all said at once!

Dontkillmyvibe- I know! I do love kit though but my DP is a man united fan so if we do have a boy, and decide to use that name, people we know are undoubtedly to make that connection Hmm

Saint John (pronounced Sinjin)

My DH vetoed Saint John. We called DS Robert Christopher James instead. All family names. Nn. Bob! Grin

Laurence is growing on me, hunk we'll add that to the (very short at the moment) list. We've got Dexter, Evan and possibly Jarvis on it so far too.
Love Benedict we nearly used it for DS1 but it didn't seem to suit him. Can't use it for DS2 because it would be rediculous with DS1's name!

Laurence is lovely but really don't like it with the "aw" spelling.
I also like Dominic, Guy, Sebastian, Simon, Jude,Christian, Caspar, Reuben....

I Iove traditional names and both my DC have 'old people' names, but when I was having my son I loved the name Laszlo.

Saint John (pronounced 'sinjun') is a middle name tradition in my exH family for boys but I just couldn't bring myself to do it!
