Too much? Suggestions welcome, brain is mince just now.
Like short, less traditional names but nothing too out there.

When's it raining? Confused

thisadhdmum · 27/03/2015 08:18

...use an umbrella. Sorry.

GrinAndTonic · 27/03/2015 08:18

Too hard to get your tongue around and could end up being garbled.
Wren reminds me of Footloose.

LaceyLee · 27/03/2015 08:23

Er no. Sounds like a weather forecast. I wouldn't have Rainey at all, rain is better? And definitely not with Wren. How about
Pearl
Ada
Blythe
Juno

shakemysilliesout · 27/03/2015 08:52

Wren and rain are both fine but not together.

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 27/03/2015 09:13

Noooo - sorry. Is Rainny the surname?

Iris Rainny
Ada Rainny
Olive Rainny

charlyn · 27/03/2015 09:35

Love Wren but obviously not with Rainny?

I like Wren and then started suffering with bad heartburn and realised we would probably end up calling her Rennie :-/

HouseAtreides · 27/03/2015 09:51

Linnet is a beautiful bird name :)

Fitzers · 27/03/2015 09:52

Not the combination of the two, no, bit of a tongue twister.

CrispyFern · 27/03/2015 10:02

It looks like when rainy to me too. Sorry!

manicinsomniac · 27/03/2015 11:28

Total tongue twister.

Assume Rainny is your surname? If so, sorry, Wren is pretty but I don't think you can use it.

How about Robyn, Briar, Willow or Fern?

SoupDragon · 27/03/2015 11:39

I agree that the two really don't go together.

maplebaconchips · 27/03/2015 12:07

I think it is cute. Made me smile. Lovely happy name!

VT82 · 27/03/2015 12:18

Don't do it!

I also don't get the popularity of Wren on here. It's not even that interesting a bird???

MsMittens · 27/03/2015 12:20

I like the name Wren but not with Rainny (if that is your surname). Sorry.

Like Iris Rainny as suggested further up the thread.

It sounds like a character from the Beano. Why would you? Hmm

DPotter · 27/03/2015 12:30

said it several times out loud and it sounded like 'wayne rooney' Confused. Like both but not together

glittertits · 27/03/2015 13:30

Rainny is the worst name I have ever heard on here. Its soooo bad.

squoosh · 27/03/2015 13:38

Wren and Rainny don't go. They especially don't work if Rainny is the surname.

lemonyone · 27/03/2015 13:41

Wren is fine (not my cup of tea but I find it pretty charming).

But with Rainny it just become as a bizarre tongue twister. Is Rainny your last name? If it isn't, I'd keep Wren and find a less "R-y" name.

Only1scoop · 27/03/2015 13:43
