When are the 2013 name stats released?

It's always sometime in August. Not sure exactly when but it will be soon. Can't wait.

Maybe it's tomorrow? It's usually a Monday isn't it?

Yep, 15th August according to the ONS website. I'm intrigued to see where Noah and Oscar are in the rankings - they seem to have really shot up in popularity.

Ooh marvellous. DD was one of only 13 in her birth year. Am having a boy this time and really struggling! Be handy to see that list.

The mid-year stats were on the baby centre website that showed that my dd name had gone up 8 places and now in top 50 on that one waiting to see what the full ONS stats show

Ok, sorry but I can't hold it in any longer. I think the next week will pass more quickly if we all put our predictions here. I've made DH do a sweepstake on our kids' names but I can tell he's just humouring me

George must be top 5. It really feels as though every baby boy I meet at the moment is called George. It's a lovely name but I just don't understand why everyone is using it knowing there will be loads of them about.

The last two baby girls born to my friends/family were called...Anna...and...Elsa!

Are they out yet? I cant seem to find a link. Week over due with DD1 and desperate to check her name before she makes an appearance!!
