Is Hades a horrific boys name?

That's it really. I've always thought it would be an awesome name and now I'm pregnant and my other half likes it I've been seriously considering it. Thoughts please..?

You seem bafflingly defensive Sarah. Have you had a lot of negative comments about your son's name in real life? If you and your son love it, then surely that's all that matters? You say people need to lighten up, but you were the one who raised the topic randomly. Not sure why it's necessary to dig up a 3 year old thread to defend your name choice, nor why you feel the need to pursuade a bunch of random strangers on the internet who will never meet you or your son that he has a brilliant name....
