Rubina, Kerensa, Keturah, Kaysia - 1& 3 were elderly ladies, 2&4 in their 30's.

Im suprised none of my names have come up on here, although one of my middle names (which I am known by) is almost here, quite close, its the least unusual of them.

Reading this has made me realise how bonkers my parents actually were, funnily enough Ive given my children classic names and DD says she cant believe I gave her such a boring name, but you try living with a name people always say pardon or can you say that again or wow, unusual name. Along with how do you spell that

Although, I do quite like them, now.

bullshit

M27J5M · 10/07/2014 13:16

It's not bullshit! It was a 16yr old that had given birth to her and just thought it sounded pretty! Between midwives and family they supposedly tried to talk her outta it to no avail! But tbh i would think it was bullshit if I hadn't heard it 1st hand

I've only met one of the following;

Daewoo
Quinn
Amadeus
Curtese

DH mentioned a Pagan - the parents had merged Megan and Paige to come up with it

stripedtortoise · 10/07/2014 13:49

Tippy. Took me aback when I heard it because I had to say 'sorry I didn't catch that' and felt really bad.
Not a name I'd choose but when I told my husband about it he thought it was really nice so it's obviously not as out there as I'd assumed.

DHandhisgrossfoot · 10/07/2014 15:09

burgatroyd I really like Griselda for some reason Grin
