And what were the names that you liked but didn't use?

Nancy and Felicity and we like these names.

DD was Sofia until she was born and then Lydia Athene from about 12 hours afterwards. Both DS1 and DS2 would have been Anastasia (with the Greek pronunciation, not the English) if they'd been girls.

Other names we toyed with were Xanthe, Ariadne and Eleni (I quite like Paraskeve nn Skevi but DH hates it and we decided to go for more Anglo-Greek names which I actually regret a little now)

My dd is Lucy May Sarah. May is after my amazing Nana and Sarah because dp likes the name Sarah

Putative dd3 would have had to cope with Joan (after my grandmother & a cracking strong name IMO). Edith also liked but too similar to ds's name.

Olivia Rose and Victoria Lily

DD is called Emily Jane (surname). Our shortlist was:

Milly
Freya
Theresa
Amelia.

Emily kind of came about as a mixture of Milly and Amelia and it really suits her.

My daughter who is 2 in Feb is called Sophie and my baby girl is called Sadie, we couldnt decide over Sadie or Darcey and to this day i think i should of stuck with Darcey but i let peoples opinions get in the way, never mind

DD1 is Millicent (Millie) Elizabeth, which I chose originally when having ds. I had no other choices.

DD2 is Philippa Imogen (Pippa). We very briefly toyed with Lucinda, and I would have loved to use Harriet- but ds is Elliot, so it sounded to similar.

I still love their names, and they suit them perfectly.

Millie and Poppy.

Names not used were Megan, Darcey, Rowan, Sophia and Eva.

Amelia, DS would have been erin. Also liked lucy, grace, evie, rose, and laura

DD#1 (15 months) is Lucy Grace. We chose that over Alice Isabel when we met her.

DC#2 (due June) likely to be Elsa Violet if a DD.

DD1- Thea Aurora Malin.
All three names of hers are quite common where I am- 8, 24 and 36 in the year she was born.

Otherwise she'd have been Lilly, Amalie, Sara, Maja (Maya) or Sofia.
