From another site discussing the most unusual names, I found this gem:

I thought I picked unusual names for my kids lol
Riley (9), Logan (5), Kai (3) and Jorji-Mae (16weeks)
To be fair my eldest two are the only ones in their school
Some people go too far when picking names for their children xx

She calls her child Jorji-Mae and thinks some people go to far.

Well yes, Pot Kettle hun.

Yes, they're judging names, so it does leave them open to comments on their own choices, but if they all decided to jump of a cliff would you? Now don't come running to me when you get flamed fall over and break your leg.

ToTiredToBeWitty · 07/06/2013 14:32

Ha! I laugh at them even if they are not judging.

Pystol Alyzabeth Fierce
Storm Thunder Ulysses

Christabel3 · 07/06/2013 15:56

oh come on. I've probably told people I dislike the names they suggest here on mumsnet but at least that was to the poster's face, so to speak. I can't believe you've brought her thread to another forum to slate it. I hope she doesn't find this thread.

ToTiredToBeWitty · 07/06/2013 16:05

I couldn't care less if she does Christable

They can't be real Soupy Grin

Imagine as a teacher being presented with Pystol and trying to keep a straight face.

  1. If you are happy to judge other people's names you should be prepared to have your choices judged.
  2. That thread is pretty much all about judging names without the person being there.
SoupDragon · 07/06/2013 16:08

They are too good to be made up!

usualsuspect · 07/06/2013 16:09
