For a friends pfb. Middle name Anne.

What do you think? Which do you prefer?

Thanks.

Only twats will judge her.

juneau · 08/07/2012 20:29

Or how about Liliane (or Lily-Anne if she's adamant about the hyphen?)

I have to agree, god knows I don't like hyphens but I don't think it will subject the poor girl to a lifetime of servitude.

usualsuspect · 08/07/2012 20:31

I'm sure they do Leonie

usualsuspect · 08/07/2012 20:32

I'm glad my children didn't go to that school then.

I agree Lily May is the least awful. Lexi Jean silly. Kizzi Leigh must be a joke.

They are all lovely names.
Why dont you suggest she just chooses the one she likes best and fuck what anyone else thinks?

HTH

usualsuspect · 08/07/2012 20:39

I'm still glad my children didn't go to a school like that

usualsuspect · 08/07/2012 20:40

With judgmental up their own arse parents .

I would have moved them tbh

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 08/07/2012 20:40

It sounds a bit bitchy that school. I think is really off to look down on a child..

PorkyandBess · 08/07/2012 20:43

Having only read the OP - I think they are all hideous.

VolAuVent · 08/07/2012 20:46

Lily May (without the hyphen)

wigglesrock · 08/07/2012 20:49

Fuck this thread is horrible and I love baby names. Ps if you're not taking the piss and I have my doubts, here's hoping your friend doesn't use Mumsnet. You sound lovely and wanting to share your sneering at your friends name choices - even nicer.

Bunbaker · 08/07/2012 20:51

You are right wiggles, but unfortunately the responses on here will probably mirror what people in RL will think of the names anyway.

usualsuspect · 08/07/2012 20:52

AS i said , only twats will judge and who gives a shit what they think.

wigglesrock · 08/07/2012 20:54

Nope, I don't judge babies to be "trashy" - wtf - on their names or funny enough on anything! and I don't judge a womans intelligence on what she calls her child.

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 08/07/2012 20:56

I don't think this thread is a true representation of real life. The names are not that bloody bad at all!

Bunbaker · 08/07/2012 20:58

"The names are not that bloody bad at all!"

This is a wind up, right? Those names would really be considered trailer trash round here.

MayaAngelCool · 08/07/2012 20:59

OP, I love your choice of names. But your friend's? Good god. > But hell, why stop at a hyphen - why not add an apostrophe too?

For a middle name she could go for Yoo'nique/ U'neeq/ E'weneek/ Eew'nii'q. The possibilities are endless. It's a very popular name in the USA, ironically! Grin
