Had our 20 week scan today, not only are we lucky enough to be having a healthy baby, but we also found out will be having a boy. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

We already have a (very ecstatic) 7 year old boy - Oscar.

Names we both like:
Felix
Spike
Max

Names I like:
Caspar
Ptolemy (I know Grin Wink)

Names DH likes:
Stanley
Elvis (I know Confused Hmm)

What else could be add to our list? Our surname begins with an N and is one syllable.

We have a Quentin. Think that goes very well with Oscar. Congratulations!

mopsyflopsy · 11/05/2012 21:50

And our surname is one syllable too Smile

My sons name is Fox, but my second choice was Felix

Felix/Spike/Max all sound like animal names!! Sorry! I do like the suggestions of Ellis or Caleb, to go with Oscar.

We actually have an Elvis where I work and though I do think it's a cool name, the joke at the end of every day "Elvis has left the building" gets old... quickly.

Oscar and Frank Elvis.

TheHouseofMirth · 11/05/2012 22:15

Another vote here for Ellis.

Or Ned.

LynetteScavo · 11/05/2012 22:16

What is Oscar's middle name?

What I'm not sure about is that Frank is thought of as short for Francis, but Oscar isn't short for anything.

Alfie and Frank, I get.

Charlie and Frank, OK. But not Oscar and Frank.

The same with Jerry.

I like to over think things.

I'm banning all names for Oscars brother which can be short forms of something else.

LynetteScavo · 11/05/2012 22:18

Actually, stuff that.

Frank Elvis it is.
