Beaver Scouts. Lots of boys running around? In mud? That sounds like a fun day for them to me!!! Actually were it not for the fact I'll be be-gowned and stilletoed I'd be up for a bit of mud rolling!!!

Oh yes Vintage - you have reminded me. In your massive stash of buttons. Do you have any biggish ones (i.e. for a jacket) I bought a bargain of the century blazer thingy, but the buttons are a little and I thought I could customize a wee bit? You were my first thought. If not I'll go googling!!

how big - wot colour - how many?!
to be honest most of my buttons are very vintage,not many of each and mainly under an inch but i'm sure that in this mountain there will be something at least suitable if not fantastic !!!!

mmm just measured We are looking at about an inch diameter (not that I'm planning to do the buttons up anyway - big norks/small waist so I have to make a compromise!!) We'll work on colours if you have any of an appropriate size!!! The jacket is a bluey/grey. I love very vintage which is why I thought of you. Don't even worry if you don't have 3 the same. 3 totally different may work. I want to pep it up and make it my jacket - not just a mass produced boring piece of clothing!!!
Don't break your neck searching though. I don't want to put you to too much trouble.

She couldnt find anything online in the shops and I thought why waste your time when you all make such lovely cards.
Plus I want a nice invite

I've been painting today. We had a leak a while ago and it took the paper with it so we've ripped it off and sorted it out.
I've still got another 2 coats to put on it though

Also a lovely seller on Etsy in the US is making me a custom ring.
I'm having a silver band with the childrens birthstones in and their names stamped on the band.
I'm so excited about it!

That sounds really nice NBG. Came onto the thread too late. I made invitations for another MNetter and I made all of the Order of Services for my brother's wedding. Mind you there are no photo's of them on my blog!!!
Dior deserves the commission anyway she is very clever.
