morning, VV toadstools on your profile look amazing. not done any crafting this morning aside from a bit of sketching for GM's russian doll themed swap... estate agent round in a few hours so need to tidy up some more, especially the bacon grease DH got all over the stove last night... DH dosent really cook, he incinerates on the BBQ and he frys things to death in the pan.. and gets in my way in the kitchen when I'm trying to make dinner.. he says he is helping but he jsut gets in the way and steals spoons to stir things..

Meri - My DH cooks one thing brilliantly and that's chilli (although can you count bacon and egg sandwiches 'cus he does those great too ). The rest of the time he also 'helps' by standing right behind me . or he starts making drinks just as I'm dishing up and gets right in my way!!!
My toadstool is finished. I was really pleased with it (Its not super duper, but it is good for me) Now I've seen VVs toadstools I'm all . I have big huge clumsy sausage fingers compared with you lot . Hey ho. I have done my bestest and I'm learning a lot.

VV which is your blog? I can't see any toadstools anywhere (peers through spectacles)

My toadstool is not going well. I can't get them to stand up! I think my stones are too round. You'd think living near a beach I would have had my pick of stones, but no, it took me twenty minutes the other evening to find six, and none of them are quite right !

Oh there are billions of stones on our beach (tis half sand and half stone), they are just all the wrong size

ohh estate agent just called to say that one of the viewers last night will definitly put in an offer on monday for our house, for more than the low ball offer we already have... so very good news,

I'm just sewing up around the stalk and I need to finish the little extra thing I've done for it.
Then it can go on Monday.

I'm secretly dh will be playing his football game with his brother tonight so I can crack on with everything else.

miaou- find some good skipping stones while you are at it.

people comming around to look at the house in 15 min, f*ing dogs next door won't stop barking I HATE people that have animals then don't take care of them properly... I would love to have a dog but it wouldn't be fair for us to travel to vist my parents and friends in the states and leave the dog, its too cruel, and this cow next door just leaves them locked up in thier pen all day... sigh

DS has jsut gone out with his grandma so might get some crafting done after peeps come and look round. or I may jsut vent and tear some plants apart in the garden. DH has a wedding to shoot today so I might do my crafting while he edits pictures... probably a bit of painting as I have some book pages tea stained and dried just waiting for some paint.

Best not to mention dogs Meri.

I've just locked mine up for being total PITA
SO far today he has ripped a toy to shreds, eaten a block of butter that he managed to get off the worktop and got into the bin and shredded a pooey nappy everywhere

i went to buy more felt today but the shop have no longer got the right colour i hate it when that happens

Hi all - back from the craft fair/family day. It went OK but not as busy as I thought it would be, as the weather was fab. I did OK but was up against at least 3 stalls of cheaper 'bought in' jewellery. Still I had fun even though it felt like an oven in the marquee!
Am spending the evening chilling with white wine!
