Oooh my. I swap all the way to the USA!!! Getting scary! Have checked my swap partners myspace and I already have a mention - man she's quick!!! I suppose I'd better get stitching .

awh LK that's sweet of you - bet you really mean "JG you forgot to email me in time" I was going to bed last night, shattered, when I remembered and it was 11.40 so I reckoned was too late anyway. Sorry. I bet when you are organising a swap folk like me are the last thing you want!

3 hours, wow, these things are not to be undertaken lightly then!

well, I've finished my functional felt swap bits, also my mini-quilt and quilt for GM are done. Will blog them later (have to work now)

next up is the doll for NBG's doll swap. This is causing me some anxiety I must say. I just can't decide what to do, and anything I do think of seems way too hard for a novice doll maker. Also, I want it to not be too fussy. Ho Hum. Thinking cap on tonight again, am hoping I'll be able to concentrate better now I have the other things out of the way

morning ladies.. I will draw a winner for my 200th post give away in an hour or so, have some beading to do in the meantime and the house work..boohoo.. I did paint a few story book pages last night while babysitting for a friend, I will blog them later along with my winner... I plan on dragging my knitting out sometime this week as I haven't knit anything for ages, and I had started on a java jacket in a lilac/lavender purple that I got some vintage buttons to decorate it with while in the states.. no time for a 30 min project ...

Well folks, after a barren three weeks I have finally blogged once more! I feel better now - having nothing to show was rather depressing.

Should be following up with my wedding outfit soon - I only have the hems left to do

NBG, my doll swap is leaving tomorrow (and I think my swapee sent hers to me today!! Excellent timing!!)

Dior - bracelet arrived this morning . When I wasn't in to sign for it . Luckily I work for Royal Mail and know the postie so she signed for me and posted it anyway !!!

It is beautiful. I'm well chuffed. perfect fit!! You can breathe again now (and possibly wonder if you have sent it to a 4 year old with that wrist size!!! I promise I'm normal in every other way) .
Right really muct put shopping away now!

Everyone's been busy apart from me!
I have swapped one of my tassel necklaces for a yummy focal bead - it's a whopper - a tube about 3.5cm long. Not entirely sure what to do with it yet, so may just sit & admire it for a bit!
Looking forward to half term when I plan to get my a*se in gear & sort out the stuff for my craft fair (I hate doing prices!)

I'm here but I've nuffin' to say

I'm knackered. I've been round the town putting up posters for my "knit in" at the beginning of June (two weeks tomorrow) (for the Oxfam blanket), taking stuff to the charity shop, buying zips and buttons (nothing exciting, just repairing dh's boiler suit ) - oooh, I got some ace material to make a bag with! My local yarn/material/haberdashery store make soft furnishings to order, and they put leftover fabric out for free (well for a donation to a local charity), and I've got some fab cream and some green fabric to make a bag to go with my suit! Most pleased with it. I can have a play anyway and if it doesn't work, well it was free anyway. Just call me the recycle queen (my suit is made from curtains too!)
