Grobag nearly finished - taking blinkin' ages! I washed some of my fabric for my outfit to check it doesn't shrink and it washes beautifully

Chrissnow - Now that is a fantabulous idea. D'you know my dd was dressing up in her reversible Cinderella dress yesterday and I was looking at the dress thinking how I could adapt it into a hanging but didn't even think about the double sided option - FAB !!!

Chrissnow, yes it was, you will never know how much I loled at that comment because I do, I have an obsession with bag linings. There is a tutorial somewhere with bag linings on, will see if I can find it. Great idea about the reversible cinderella btw.

Hmm - maybe I should down my knitting sticks and sewing machine and just come on here as a muse!!!

ive just got a sewing machine but im scared to se it in case i get addicted like i am with my beads and knitting

ive just finished a bag i need to do the lining then its off to nbg with a a little hoooded cardy for her ds1 am well chuffed with it .

This one is good, trying to find others but for some odd reason my lappy won't load the pages.

cheers ranting. I think it will be more like method no. 2. The main problem I have is that the bag is very heavy knit (super chunky wool which I knitted on needles too small to make a very firm knit (iyswim) As far as structure of the bag goes that's worked out brilliantly, however it is turning out to be a b&*^ch to sew up!! I can't use wool as its too thick to go through the knit. I can't put it through the sewing machine as it's too bulky. So I've got to stich it by hand using very thick (I think it may even be embroidery) thread. PITA!!!

Like the consultant who (none to gently) persuaded me to have a vbac for dd2. I hated him with a passion. Until after an easy birth I had a beautiful daughter and a very quick recovery!!

help!, i'm having a few problems with dd atm, here
