Hi Dior, would something else be more apt perhaps ? I know what you mean because my mum would be the same. Yet this is a woman who cannot resist a bargain and has about 30 handbags because they were a bargain at £5.00 each ..... bless her, I give up.

She say's she loves my work 'but hasn't anymore room' for anything else. That's because she has to keep just enough room for one more handbag

I could make a cushion cover with a cat applique or a wheat & lavender heat pad thingy (to put in the microwave) or lavender sachets for underwear drawer or wardrobe or a soft art cat (like my bunnies) to sit on a shelf or bookcase ?

Have a think and just let me know ... no rush.

Am glad she likes him, dd has been wittering on about when will I finish GMs dds' owl, 'You've finished it haven't you, mum' 'Have you posted it yet mum' ad infinitum. Am going to make Miaous' flapper girl to give her something else to witter about (she's a love, she does like a good witter though).
If you insist GM but, I really enjoyed making them, dd really enjoyed watching. Am going to have to attempt to teach her crochet or knit soon, my friend is visiting with her dd soon and she wants to learn too, so might give it a go with both of them.

See I could spend my whole first wage packet commissioning things from this thread, oh and GM I'll be calling on you too. And rather fancy treating dd to one of Tillyboos houses while I'm about it.

Ohh yes, I am not mad about mass produced stuff, the only shopping I get excited about is charity shopping or handmade stuff.
Of course Dior, I will also be working to feed my yarn/fabric habit and to extend my house (to house the extra yarn/fabric)

Yes, I can make you another owl, no problems, will have a look at what yarn I've got and email you, probably in a couple of days, am starting the test run for Miaous' flapper girl amiguiri pattern (which I am very excited about too). Do you have a colour preference?

Oh, I love beads, I buy them to knit with sometimes but am not dextrous enough to make jewellery, I would end up getting frustrated and flinging findings over the other side of the room. Luckily for me, there's you Dior and Whizz and the others on here!
