Here we go!

I am trying to crochet my fairy but struggling with the arms at the moment. Meri, I have finished my meme, and tagged a few more people, including dizzyday and lucykate

LK - tell me more about the deleted post please, I missed it.

I send mine normal 1st class. Sending priority whacks the price up too much. International first class takes a week or so, 2 to Oz. It is actually much quicker for us to post overseas than it is the other way round btw. So far, touch wood, nothing has gone astray.

LK - I saw on that blog later there was a reply from the Aus. company involved. They said they didn't copy the designs (aparently their robots were taller!!). They weren't being produced anymore and they had removed them as soon as they were contacted by the originator

LK- well done with your etsy sales.. really good for you.. I send things 1st class recorded delivery...remeber to ask for a reciept as they don't ask and you will need it for your records... DH is going to take some stuff to the post office for me later actually...

have posted a quick blog nothing much though a bracelet and painting.. and DS's painting too.. bless him he has gone for a nap totally shattered from this cold..

whizzz- the lariat is really lovey.. the hi viz ones are um hi vis...really not my colour I don't know what to say there.. but the lariat is beautiful

LK - I'm probably not the right person to ask about postage costs on Etsy seeing as I have only sold 1 item to the UK , how embarrassing is that.

Still, I have been really b usy with commissions from people outside Etsy so I'm not bothered really.

I always post 1st class or recorded though.

Fab news about your Etsy sales, you go girl !

I'm really glad you liked the lariat and even more pleased that your mum is thinking of having one . Thank You. Just let me know if you decide to go ahead.

Whizz - I like the ear-rings you made. Not sure if I would wear them (unless I needed to be seen in the dark...), but the flowers are nice.

I amended my necklace - photo on blog. I added white chips so they go all the way roundf that particular third of the necklace, because they were just spiralling before and didn't hang right. I am really pleased with it now and have been wearing it!

LK - you are set on world domination . That must be such an ego boost to have five items go in one day - not to mention a boost to the old bank balance!!!

Meri - hope ds feels better soon . Ds and I are making gingerbread robots later - a la 'Big Cook, Little Cook'. May blog if they are any good...

Don't worry all - I KNOW the hi viz ones are awful - but what could I do !?
(it's a shame I don't work in Health & Safety anymore!!)
I'm sure the things would look so much better if they weren't sicky yellow

tbh. i'm a bit taken aback by having sold stuff so soon. my plan was to put a few bits up for sale, take the next two weeks easy, off with the dc's, then start work on the next range, you know, all at my own pace. but i think i'll have to speed up a bit!

so, who's up for a to do list for the week ahead , mine is,

finish bag for mil birthday present
another bag for a gift
start a new design for softies central softie awards
begin some kind of book keeping, sort receipts and register as self employed

I do want to buy my mum a pressie for saying thank you as shes been up to see me everyday since Saturday and helped loads with the boys.

Whats your plan? Are you going to make more "farm" characters or let those sell and start on a new theme?

have blogged 2 bracelets I made earlier today.

the email is via the crafts forum, I don't even post that much on it to be honest, everyone seems nice but they are so amazingly talented and i'm not very confident... i feel very flattered that she even looked at my blog, let alone thought to email me about it...

sorry your DS is sick Champs... my DS had some dinner after a 2 hour nap.. so i think he is slowly on the mend, DH is a bit poorly though, so is babysitter (MIL) so no anniversery (7 years) dinner out then.

ok, who has been having a go at my throat with needles??, it is soooooo sore, hurts to swallow, and i am feverish . it's got worse as the day has gone on. guess it was only a matter of time before i get what ds has had.

gm, dh is bidding on some framing equipment on ebay atm, auction finishes tonight. if he gets it, it will mean a trip up to.....
