Ooops - we've filled the thread, best start a new one, eh?!

looking at gorgeous blogs just gives me an excuse to not craft! i get too sidetracked!

right i've got half an hour before i do school run - so i will finish my project!!

go for it small slices of time for crafting can be great - I always go bloglining and get horribly sidetracked

you'll feel better for getting it finished and then you can move onto something else

I've got 3 unfinshed projects I must get done this week really.
The I have another 2 set up and ready to go for next week.

Oh and I must post Meridians swap pressie.
Its all wrapped up ready.

Chin up everyone,,,and hugs to those who need it. I have had my mum in and out of hospital with kidney failure now for 8 years!! Every now and then her diaylsis fails and we all have to see her put through terrible pain and stress.. Sorry, I cannot say or do much to help.

I am really trying to get motivated agian but feel like I am being pulled in so many different directions. However I have started Champs MN Easter swap pressie...not at all what I had in mind to do, but I hope she will like it anyway. Still got lots to do on it, but here is a tiny little taster!

hello everyone sorry I haven't been around much... my headache yesterday was bordering on migraine.. I eneded up being sick which is probably TMI but am alot better today... we had a family day out to caudwell's mill and it was beautful, bright sunshine and fresh breeze, happy ducks, and georgeous cake!

all around to those most in need.. but everyone is in need of a hug..

I haven't done anything crafty but I did dig up an old painting I did about 10 years ago of Louise brooks that is now sitting on the mantel ready for a bit of a revamp.

I'm half-way through writting up the next challenge if anyone is intrested... I shall try and post it later if I get the chance...

Dior- lovely bracelet... i think it would give me more than a headache to try to mess aroudn with all those seed beads... I'm not very good with fiddly things...

Jg sorry to hear about your dad, I can't offer any words of wisdom as I only know one person (bil) with heart problems and his is a different kind of thing, I think. Although like nbgs dad, it is also a genetic thing, he had a heart attack at the age of 38 but, he's doing really well now. Back at work, active etc. Hope your dad will be ok?
Has GM actually gone to Paris now? Want to post what I've made her but, don't want her to SEE it, until she gets it.

Isn't seed beading good once you get into it - a bit like sewing I think.
I've not done anything so far this week - everythigns still a mess from packing stuff up for the craft fair. I have some lampwork beads that I want to make something with - some 'fugly' beads I have (fun/ugly) - although actually I think they are lovely! I may get a bit of time on Thursday maybe.

I feel very crafty now my flu, sinus infection and conjunctivitis have all gone. God that was horrible.

I have the added incentive of my newly decorated work room too, so nice to have a dedicated space just for me. I am a very lucky mummy

glad you're feeling better now tillyboo i suffer terribly with my sinuses it's unbelievably painful and makes me very very grumpy.
hope you enjoy your new workroom - word of warning - don't let your family use it as a dumping ground!! i'm tempted to post a photo of the mess which is my workroom

Nbg- got my easter swap package today! Thank you! its a lovely plush egg... on seeing it and me explaing what it was ds asked "its pretty mummy. but when are you going to make one mummy." so I had to explain that mummy dosne't know how to sew. lol

Dior - they've come and are GORGEOUS

Really lightweight but tinkley (sp??) at the same time.

I shall wear them on Saturday when I force DH to take me out to lunch seeing as he won't be here on Sunday.

made a new pair of earringsthat i'm considering putting on etsy but i'm not sure if they are good enough... and a brooch too that I'm quite proud of... and as its my self indulgence challenge its MINE! .. it was actually quite fun to make so I might order a few more pins to have a play with. what do you think?

I'm ok dior - thanks for asking - trying not to think too much about dad and just wait patiently...was back at work today so that helped
no crafting though (except a bit of knitting on bus)
don't fret though whizz, I will get your swap gift ready soon, this lot are just too eager by far
closing dates isn't til 10th march, right??? (someone tell me I am not hallucinating about this)
